Dark haired beauty, Kim Kardashian grew up with an almost fairy-tale childhood. She was the second child, born to Kris and prominent defense attorney Robert Kardashian. Her parents had four children at the time of their divorce. Her mom eventually married famous Olympic Gold Medalist Bruce Jenner, w
ho also had four children, and they became a modern day Brady Bunch. Bruce and Kris had two more children together, bringing the extended family of children to ten.
While attending a Catholic high school, Kardashian worked her at father's business Movie Tunes, a music marketing company. It was when her father passed away in 2003 that Kardashian vowed to follow in her dad's entrepreneurial footsteps and became an immediate sought after wardrobe stylist for infomercials, television shows, music videos and photo shoots. But, it was after helping her godmother Bernadette Leonard, wife of Sugar Ray, organize her closet, that Kardashian fell into a unique line of work. Kardashian now organizes, overhauls and designs closets for celebrities. She counts such people as Paris Hilton and Nikki Hilton, Nicole Richie, Cindy Crawford, Kathie Lee Gifford, Serena Williams and Kenny G among many others, as clients.
It was Kardashian's work as a fashion stylist and closet designer that prompted she and her sisters Khloe and Kourtney to open the designer clothing store Dash in Calabasas, California; a must-shop-at store for those with discriminating, yet fashionable taste.
Kardashian has recently explored the realm of being on camera as opposed to being behind the scenes. She most recently was seen starring in the E! hit series "Keeping up with the Kardashians" where Kardashian and her family are currently filming season 2 of the show. Kardashian also co-starred on The N's series "Beyond the Break," and has continual hosting stints on E! and EXTRA. She has also appeared on "The Simple Life," and recently guest starred in the new Fall Out Boy video "Thanks for the Memories."
Kimsaprincess Productions LLC, Kardashian's burgeoning production company released its first project, "The Kim Kardashian Workout "For Your Mind, Body and Spirit." Available on www.officialkimkardashian.com, the workout is a five minute downloadable video featuring Kardashian with famed Hollywood trainer and former NBC Today Show fitness expert Kathy Kaehler. Some of the proceeds from the download will benefit the Westside Guild of Ararat Home in Los Angeles, an Armenian convalescent / old age assisted living facility and the AFESIP, which combats trafficking in women and children sold for sex slavery. Upcoming plans for the site include health and beauty tips, relationship advice, a fan club and direct conversations with Kardashian.
Kardashian currently makes her home in Los Angeles.
